Jump Jive and Shout Saturday 14th May 2011 Live !! Claire Hamlin one of the only women rockin’ blues, boogie woogie and rock n roll pianist in the UK & Europe for that matter,and founder of the excellent Slammer’s Maximum Jive band. Making a welcome return to Jump Jive and Shout for an invigorating, vibrant live set. Also performing on the night is Chuck Berry inspired rock n roll guitarist/singer Danny J with his exhilarating take on 50s rock n roll & blues. With dj Jeniffer Jackson spinning some of the best in pulsating, energy driven 1940s/50s rhythm n blues, jump jive, boogie woogie, doo wop and more.

We will be marking the celebrating the birth of one of the greatest blues shouters of all time and a founder of what became know as rock n roll Big Joe Turner.
