Mr Carter is the owner of 40 Winks (the most beautiful small hotel in the world, according to German Vogue), and is also the organiser of some of London's coolest and best reviewed events, including his famous literary pyjama parties, Bedtime Story Nights, which are held monthly.

He is also just about to launch 'Coquette'... an afternoon dedicated to spoiling treats and indulgent glamour just for girls. This is being held at the very decadent Kettner's in Soho (home to Oscar Wilde's legendary panther feasts, and the scene of many of Edward VII's dalliances, including Miss Lily Langtry). The first event is on the 9th of April, and will be AMAZING!! Intimate dance classes, the Shellac Sisters, makeovers with vintage specialists, Lipstick and Curls, Benefit Cosmetics, and Murad, a dating clinic, kissing classes, a dressing up room, some fabulous fashion designers, including Katherine Elizabeth, who makes hats for Dita von Teese, champagne, cocktails... the list goes on and on! With just a few tickets left for April and June already sold out, this is really the place to be, and will be even better than the hugely popular Tart that Mr Carter hosted last year.
